The two photos above of the chain and gear guard are in a high traffic and close employee proximity area. The half inch mesh is small enough that your man's fingers can't get in but allows visual inspection.

 

This compressor pump is located in an area that doesn't require close proximity guarding. A larger one inch mesh stapled to a wood frame finished this job quickly and for minimal cost.  The openness of the mesh provides unparalleled air flow compared to other guarding material options.

 These guards were fabricated on premise using simple hand tools to form, assemble, and mount.  The square mesh is easy to work with.  Ketcham's can cut panels to your specs or supply you with standard sheets like buying plywood.  We have our mesh working in some exterior locations for over twenty years and the maintenance free vinyl coated galvanized wire panels still look great.
